"AWOL, which is an acronym for Alcohol With Out Liquid, is the brainchild of 30 year old Dominic Simler, who discovered that by mixing spirits with pure oxygen, a cloudy alcohol vapor can be created which can be inhaled."

Update 9/9: A Slate article rebuts claims about hangovers (they could be worse than when drinking) and carbs (hard alcohol doesn't have carbs anyway).
